Infection Could Be Cause Of Infertility
I have posted below a couple of articles that may apply to many couples who are struggling with infertility. The articles bring up a very common but not well publicized cause of infertility: you may have an underlying infection which can easily be treated. I'm not a big advocate of using or over-using antibiotics, but if you do have an infection, treating it could save you tens of thousands of dollars and the need to undergo risky assisted reproduction procedures.

I was surprised to read the huge percentage of infertile women who have these infections (a recent study that just hit the mass media was how many teenagers are now being diagnosed with STD's which could later harm their fertility). The possibility of infection should at least be something you talk with your doctor about. To my knowledge, I never had an infection in my reproductive system, but I was never tested either!
